I have always believed that every hot sauce deserves a purpose. This one appears to have chosen violence. At 1.5 million SHU, The Final Answer is firmly in the territory where enthusiasm should be accompanied by a sensible amount of caution. This isn’t a sauce I would pour over my dinner and hope for the best. A tiny amount is enough to transform an entire dish. Use it as a heat additive when ordinary chilli sauce has stopped getting your attention. Stir a little into marinades, chilli, stews or sauces and let it do its unpleasantly impressive work. Do not drink it. Do not take a heroic spoonful for the benefit of your friends. And certainly don’t mistake the name for an invitation to find out what happens when you ignore the instructions. Some questions are better left unanswered.
