Pain 100% Salsa

here is something wonderfully reassuring about a salsa that actually tastes like salsa. Pain 100% has a good tomato base, with habanero bringing the heat and jalapeño and green chilli adding a little extra peppery character. Garlic, onion and black pepper keep it firmly in savoury territory. This salsa is certainly warm enough to make its presence known, but this isn’t a bottle reserved for the genuinely deranged. I can use it generously without having to reconsider my life choices. Obviously, tacos and nachos are going to get involved. I’d also put it alongside grilled chicken, quesadillas or eggs, or simply open a bag of tortilla chips and stop pretending I had other plans. A proper, versatile salsa with enough chilli to keep things interesting. Painful? By chilehead standards, barely. Delicious? I’ll let you decide.
