Mama Yu’s Original Chilli Oil is the original recipe from mother-daughter duo Jolene & Xien. The Malaysian-Chinese roots clearly shine through in this fantastic chilli oil. Fresh red peppers form the base and alongside the oil, there’s a combination of onion and shallot used. Furthermore, garlic, lemongrass and lime juice provide an explosion of aromas, savoury and fresh flavours and of course a proper chilli oil isn’t complete without a generous dose of umami.
